Chad Payne - Lead Pastor

Chad has been the Lead Pastor at New Life since October 1999. He graduated from Southeastern University, Lakeland, Florida with a BA in Pastoral Ministry, and from Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, Indiana with an MA in Ministerial Leadership. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Ministry at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.

Chad and his wife, Kim, have two daughters.

His interests include: Anything by Apple, Science Fiction, Reading, Exercise, Photography, and Starbucks Coffee.


Sylvia South - Secretary

Sylvia has served as Secretary for New Life since July 2007. A graduate of University of Montevallo, Alabama she completed two BA programs: Family Consumer Sciences and Visual Art. Her education and work experience has provided exposure to the social and life development of all ages. Her music ministry of 30 years has opened many doors of opportunity to serve in local women’s ministry and programs for senior citizens. Her personal hobbies include art and home improvement. Sylvia’s four children are grown, two are married and she has seven grandchildren.


Keith Ellis - Worship Pastor

Keith comes to New Life with over thirty years of ministry experience. He leads an acoustic-driven style of worship that both celebrates the Lord and draws others into God’s Presence. He is a singer/songwriter who has recorded two albums of original music. Keith is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He and his wife, Angela, have been married over 30 years. They have two married sons and one new granddaughter.


Chris & Rachal Aaron - Children’s Pastors

Chris and Rachal joined the New Life Team in October 2012. Chris earned a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary. Chris and Rachal have four children.


Daniel LEe - Youth Pastor

Daniel has served in ministry at New Life for several years, starting as an intern in KidQuest before taking over as Youth Pastor. He is currently a student at the University of Alabama.
